Vaquero Cartel is a 2014 AQHA Buckskin Gelding with lots of 1D barrel racing potential. Stands around 16hh, UTD hoof and vet care. Needs a confident rider, who can take him to the next level. He is an absolute POWERHOUSE and very confident in the arena. Was a mounted shooting horse for many years and is adept to busy arenas, noises, rodeos, etc. Stands very calm until it is time to run, and walks into the arena with no ally issues. Can ride a trail, work in the arena, and loves to lead the pack. Great in the trailer, travels great, stands tied for grooming, farrier, vet, etc. Easy keeper. He has been started on barrels and entered around 20 times, won a 2D Jackpot Buckle and usually places within the 2D or 3D, and the right rider could bring him very far. Great with other horses and a big teddy bear at heart. Selling by no fault of his own, growing my family by one and already have a barrel horse.
