Zans Diamond Hancock (Shorty) is a 14.2 hand palomino mare who loves to run! What she lacks in size she makes up for in personality and grit. This mare can turn on a dime and has the ability to be a 2D barrel mare but she’ll make you work for it in the slow work! She is calm and respectful on the ground, trailers great (in both a slant and straight-load trailer), has no health issues, and is an overall safe horse to ride. She has been a fantastic first horse and I’ve learned a lot from her, including how to be a better, more assertive rider! Two years ago she won 1st in the 2D NTHSRA with her prior owner with a time of 17.34. Unfortunately in the time I’ve had her we have not been able to compete as much as planned and maintain times in the 17s (which has been more rider error than anything). Recently I did get a time of 17.29 which is a PR for us. Shorty is capable of consistent 17 second times with frequent competitions. She also knows the pole pattern and has potential to be a great pole horse with an assertive rider! She is AQHA papered and all her vaccinations, deworming, and coggins are up to date. As much as I hate to sell her I know how much she loves to run and I know she would be the perfect high school rodeo horse for some lucky girl. Also, this mare has a stud radar so she could potentially be a brood mare.
