Woody U Bet (“Woody”) is a 17-year-old gelding standing 15.2 hands. He is built correctly, has no soundness issues, and has been a dependable step-up barrel and pole horse for me over the past two years. I purchased Woody to jackpot on and compete at junior rodeos, and he has been hauled to a variety of pens, exposed to different horses and environments, and handles overnight rodeos well. He is experienced and knows his job.

Woody would be a great fit for a younger rider (around 9–12, give or take) or someone looking for a step-up horse they can continue learning on while still being competitive. He consistently places differently depending on the rodeo/pen but is capable of running in the 3D and can dip into the bottom of the 2D.

Woody can get anxious in more stressful environments, so he does best with a confident rider who can keep him moving forward and reassure him. I’m selling because my riding style just hasn’t been the best fit for him.
