Dandy – 2022 Gelding
Dandy is a special one to us, and this is not an easy horse to offer for sale.
This 4-year-old gelding is by our stallion Slick Like Puddin and out of a very special mare that meant a great deal to our program. Dandy is the only foal we were able to get from her, which makes him even more unique to us.
He stands right at 15 hands, with a nice balance of athleticism, bone, and structure. Dandy has been meticulously started and brought along correctly, with no steps skipped along the way. He was started here at home and has had the kind of foundation every young horse deserves.
Dandy is on track for his 5-year-old futurity year and has been hauled and exhibitioned. He is showing all the right pieces and continues to progress exactly the way you would hope a young prospect should.
Beyond his ability, Dandy is one of those horses that is simply enjoyable to be around. He has a kind, gentle personality and a puppy-dog demeanor, and he has been that way since the day he was born. He was raised right here in our yard and has always been handled and cared for closely.
This is a very hard horse for us to offer, and finding the right home for him is extremely important. He deserves someone who will continue to develop him and appreciate the kind of horse he is.
