The Eagle, Colorado winner was able to take time out of her schedule to visit with us about her rodeo adventures!

Hometown: Boston GA

Current Buckle: I don't wear a buckle, however, I may start wearing the one Slice and I just won at the Eagle, CO Pro Rodeo as this was Slice's very first rodeo buckle.

Favorite Traveling Snack: I am a huge candy freak and lately I've been stuck on Twizzlers

How do you prepare for different arenas? I like to walk up and look at the pattern, the score, the approach etc; I love to walk the pattern on foot.

Favorite Rodeo My favorite rodeo so far this year would have to be at Perry, GA, as it was Slice's first rodeo win. It was in my home state and my mom, step-dad and husband were all there to see her win.

Craziest thing that has happened to you while on the rodeo road One of the craziest things that has happened to me while out on the rodeo road was when I was in Great Falls, MT. My husband and I had put our horses out in panel pens at the trailer and we had put those EZ-Up tents over each pen for shade. We bungee-corded the the tents to the panels to keep them from blowing away. Then we went across the street from the fairgrounds to get something from the hardware store. We were only in the store for a minute. When we came out a huge wind had just blown through the area. We hurried back to our trailer to find no tents, no panels and no horses. The wind had caught the tents and ripped up the tents, panels and all. Thank God our horses weren't injured and some fellow competitors had caught them and put them in stalls.

Which horses do you travel with? I travel with three horses: Slice of PeachFame (Slice), The Mafia Boss (Bossy) and Jazzing Dreamer (Jazzy).

What's your favorite rodeo and why? Winning Eagle, CO was very exciting and a huge confidence builder. Slice has been struggling with footing and the ground at Eagle was very good when we ran and she was able to just go in and make her run. It felt amazing.

First and foremost I want to thank God for always being there for me. Then a huge thank you to my husband Rob for pushing me and believing in me even when I don't believe in myself. My son Kyle for holding down the farm so I can stay out on the rodeo trail, my friends for their moral support, sharing their knowledge and all their help along the way and my sponsors: Silver Lining Herbs, Formula 1Noni, OE Nutraceuticals, Sports Saddle Inc By Bob Marshall, Kaylon Rodriguez PHT, and Ranch Dressn for my fun clothes.

Congrats and best of luck the rest of the year!
